Rendering 3D drawings on iPad just got a lot easier. A new app named uMake lets designers draw two-dimensionally on an axis to render 3D images, and was created with the iPad Pro in mind.

The app also allows you to extrude and revolve sketches for a recursive effect, or quickly manipulate an array pattern.

A new era of tech events has begun

We’re back in New York this November for the 4th edition of our growth-focused technology event.

Of course, the main pull will be the ability to sketch something in 2D and have it spit out a 3D rendering. Once you’ve sketches lines out, they can also be pulled or skewed to create a desired effect.

Because uMake can’t do it all, it allows you to export your sketches as “industry standard formats” like PNG, IGES and OBJ.

The app is free, but some features require a premium subscription, which will cost you $14.99 per month or $149.99 per year. That’s also an introductory pricing scheme; sometime after launch, pricing will be $19.99 and $199.99, respectively.
