GoPro is rolling out a few new features for its mobile apps today for iOS and Android devices that allows quicker access to camera controls and better control of your recordings.
Among the new features are the ability to preview your shot, toggle between capture modes and control the beginning and end of your recordings from your wrist. You can also add ‘HiLight’ tags to focus in on the most interesting parts of your recordings. Unfortunately, all of these are only coming to iOS users today.

Apple Watch owners can also grab high-quality still images from videos, and create 5, 15 or 30-second shareable clips using the ‘Trim and Share’ feature.
For Android device owners, you get the ability to flip through videos frame-by-frame to find that perfect still image, and there’s also a new option to filter your media by type (photo/video) or tag.
In other less tangible news, GoPro also revealed the name of its first quadcopter, set to launch next year. It’ll be called the Karma, but that’s about all the company has revealed so far.
